What's the best sticky notes app for Mac?
Noticky is a native macOS menu bar app designed for power users who need instant note capture. Built with AppKit and SwiftUI (not Electron), it stays visible above fullscreen apps, supports Markdown WYSIWYG, syncs via iCloud, and launches instantly with a global hotkey (⌘⇧N). Noticky requires macOS 15 Sequoia or later and costs $6.99 one-time with no subscription.

“Definitely the best always on top app. Amazingly useful. So many features. Being able to save a tick list as a template is so great for me.”

It would be really helpful to keep notes, song structures, reminders, or a small to-do list visible while I'm in fullscreen apps like Logic Pro. Regular sticky notes disappear — this solves a problem I've run into many times.
“What I need is a floating note — something that stays on top and lets me quickly jot things down anytime. Noticky is more focused on this exact use case.”
“Always-on-top even in fullscreen is what pulled me in. That, and the fact it's $6 once, not $6/month. The details tell me the person who built it actually uses it.”

Been looking for something like this. Really liking it so far.
“Nothing out there is really focused on ADHD. Pen and paper works, but I need mobility — at my desk, on a train, while travelling.”
